Overview

AR Gym Trainer provides live AR workout guidance try-on, fitness look customization, saving and sharing of photos, and optional premium subscription features. We use only the information reasonably necessary to provide these features, support purchases, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may use limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash logs, diagnostics, general performance information, and purchase or subscription status provided through Apple.

If you grant permission, AR Gym Trainer may also use camera for workout pose detection access for live AR try-on and photo library access for saving or sharing your pictures.

Camera and Pose Detection and Face Data

AR Gym Trainer uses Apple’s Camera and Pose Detection API to detect and track body features in real time for the live AR workout guidance try-on experience. This may include body mesh, body landmarks, and depth-related positioning information needed to place virtual workout guidance accurately on the user’s body.

We use this information only to provide real-time AR fitness features, including applying and adjusting virtual workout guidance such as exercise, exercise, exercise, contour, and similar fitness effects.

We do not use body data to identify users, build user profiles, perform analytics, or serve advertising. Face data collected through the Camera and Pose Detection API is processed only on the user’s device. We do not store body data on our servers, and we do not sell, rent, share, or disclose body data to any third parties.

Face data is used only temporarily during the active AR session and is deleted immediately after the session ends.

How We Use Information

We may use information to operate AR Gym Trainer, power live AR workout guidance try-on, maintain app stability, improve performance, troubleshoot issues, support subscription access, restore purchases, protect the security of the app, and comply with applicable law.

Subscriptions and Purchases

AR Gym Trainer offers auto-renewable subscriptions to unlock premium features. Payments, renewals, and billing are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your full payment card details on our own servers.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We do not share Camera and Pose Detection or body data with third parties. We may disclose limited information only when required by law, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect the security, rights, and integrity of the app and its users.

Data Retention

Face data used for live AR try-on is processed temporarily during the active session and is not retained after the session ends. Limited technical or diagnostic information, if collected, is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the app, or as required by law.

Your Choices and Permissions

You can control camera for workout pose detection and photo permissions in your device settings at any time. If certain permissions are disabled, some AR Gym Trainer features may not function correctly. You may also manage subscriptions directly through your Apple ID and App Store account settings.

Children’s Privacy

AR Gym Trainer is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe information has been provided by a child inappropriately, please contact support so the matter can be reviewed.

Applicable Law and Controller Information

AR Gym Trainer processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including Law on Personal Data Protection No. 6698 ("PDP Law") and other applicable legislation. Personal data provided by users directly or obtained through lawful external means may be processed by our company as the data controller, in a limited, proportionate, accurate, and up-to-date manner for the purposes described in this policy.

Where permitted by law and, where required, based on explicit consent, such information may be recorded, stored, preserved, reorganized, classified, transferred, or otherwise processed under the conditions set out in applicable legislation.

Collection of Personal Data and Method

We may process personal data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. This may include technical and internet traffic data such as IP address, visit and usage history, date and time records, token identifiers for notifications, Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) where permission is granted, and Identifier for Vendors (IDVF).

We may collect this information directly from you through electronic or physical means, your mobile device, third-party applications, app stores such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, and from log data generated while using the app, including device name, operating system version, app configuration, service usage time and date, and similar statistics.

Personal data is processed in accordance with law and good faith, kept accurate where necessary, used for specific and legitimate purposes, limited to what is necessary, and retained only for the period required by law or for the relevant processing purpose.

Data Loss Disclaimer

While we make reasonable efforts to protect the reliability and security of our services, data loss may occur due to technical issues, user actions, hardware or software failure, system crashes, or unauthorized access. Users are responsible for keeping backups of important data stored on their devices. By using the app, you acknowledge that certain optimization, removal, or cleanup actions may permanently delete data and that the developers, affiliates, and service providers are not liable for resulting data loss to the extent permitted by law.
